For Day 13 in our “Awaken Your Inner Goddess” series, we’ll immerse ourselves in Sensual Movement, using dance or yoga to connect with our body’s intuitive grace and wisdom.
Let’s briefly reflect on our journey so far:
1. Morning Meditation: Ground yourself each morning for a clear start. I usually do this at 6 am when everyone is asleep.
2. Energetic Cleansing Bath: Refresh daily with a cleansing bath or shower. Shower freeze/shower procrastination is a real thing it's linked to depression. When you're feeling extremely overwhelmed, you must force yourself to have a shower or bath. It imperative that this step is completed daily.
3. Connection with Nature: Connect with nature each day, perhaps with your morning coffee outside on the porch as the Sun is rising.
4. Creative Doodling: Dedicate time for mindful doodling daily. Consider doing this while you're drinking your morning coffee just put pen to paper and doodle and clear your mind.
5. Routine Decluttering: Clear your space for at least 10 minutes daily. Doing this daily, you will be surprised how quickly your house will get tidied.
6. Celebration of Movement: Add joyful movement into your daily routine. Even if it's just bopping along to your favourite tune while you're cooking dinner, movement is important.
7. Self-Love Letters: Write monthly letters of self-appreciation. This is to be done on day seven of every month.
8. Chakra Meditation: Balance your energy centers bi-weekly. This doesn't need to be done until the 22nd.
9. Herbal Tea Ritual: Wind down your evenings with a herbal tea. I recommend lavender and chamomile with some raw honey like honey is best, because then it acts as a natural antihistamine that your bees the pollen of your local flowers.
10. Gratitude Journaling: Reflect on daily joys and gratitude each night. Do this while you're drinking your herbal tea.
11. Affirmations: Affirm your essence daily, perhaps during your shower, I do this in the shower because water amplifies intentions.
12. Moon Cycle Awareness: Align with the lunar phases for deeper insights. February's full moon is also known as the Snow Moon, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.

Mentor inspiration:
For todays them of Sensual Movement, we turn to the wisdom of Isadora Duncan, a pioneer in the world of expressive dance. Duncan's philosophy centered on the idea that dance should be a natural expression of the individual soul, moving in harmony with the rhythms of nature and life itself. Her belief in the power of movement to unlock deep emotional expression and personal liberation aligns perfectly with our journey of sensual exploration and connection to our inner goddess. Duncan's legacy teaches us to embrace our natural flow, encouraging a deeper, intuitive bond with our bodies and the expressive potential within.

Colour Whispers:
For Day 13's theme of Sensual Movement, let's embrace the passionate hues of deep red and soft rose. Deep red symbolizes passion and vitality, perfect for channeling your sensual energy and confidence. Soft rose adds a touch of gentleness and love, inviting a nurturing connection to your movements. Together, these colors create a vibrant and warm atmosphere, enhancing your sensual dance or yoga practice with their rich, inviting tones.

Scented Serenades:
For our fragrance senses for today blend the intoxicating aroma of Jasmine, known for its sensual and romantic properties, with the uplifting essence of Ylang-Ylang, which promotes relaxation and balances emotions, creating an inviting atmosphere for sensual exploration.

Music for the Senses:
today for my song choice, I would like you to consider "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak. This song is well-known for its haunting melody and evocative lyrics, making it a perfect backdrop for exploring sensual movement. Its tempo and Isaak's sultry vocals create an atmosphere that's ideal for slow, mindful, and expressive dance, allowing you to fully embrace and explore your sensual side.

Todays Activity:
Sensual dancing invites you to deeply connect with your body and emotions. Start by ensuring privacy and comfort in your space, close the curtains, lock the door, and dim the lights. Dress in something that makes you feel confident and sensual.
Begin by playing "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak, allowing its sultry melody to envelop you. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and start moving slowly, letting the music guide your movements. Focus on how your body wants to express itself, exploring different motions and embracing the rhythm.
Here is a playlist that I found that I'm going to be listening to today
